Comme le veut la tradition au Québec, on a jusqu'aux Rois (Épiphanie) pour adresser nos voeux de Bonne Année. Je profite donc de l'occasion pour le faire, à la toute dernière minute je sais, et souhaiter à tous ceux et celles qui suivent mon blog, commentent mes photos ou m'en parlent lorsqu'ils me rencontrent, une très belle année 2017. Elle ne peut pas être pire, sur le plan global, que ne l'a été la triste 2016.

Sur le plan personnel, cette année qui vient de finir a été particulière. Je l'ai commencé en réalisant un gros mandat professionnel, très intéressant et stimulant, mais qui a fait en sorte que j'ai délaissé mes projets photo personnels pendant un certain temps. Malgré cela, 2016 a tout de même été mon année la plus faste en terme de mandats photographiques payants.

Je vous laisse donc avec avec ces 13 photos prises au cours des 12 derniers mois. D'où le 13/12 du titre. Pour ce qui est du -50 de l'équation, il s'agit de quelque chose de très personnel et dont je suis fier, il représente les 50 livres que j'ai perdues depuis le 4 janvier 2016.

As tradition goes in Quebec, we have until Three Kings' Day (Epiphany) to send our best wishes for the New Year. I know I'm at the very last minute for that, but I jump in and wish all those who follow my blog, comment on my photos or talk to me about it, a fantastic and creative 2017! After all, it can't get worse than 2016, hopefully.

On a personal level, the year that just ended was a special one. I started it by realizing a great, interesting and challenging professional mandate that lasted more than four months. During that time, I put my personal photo projects on hold for a while and had a hard time getting my drive back. Strangely, despite this, 2016 was my best year in terms of commissioned work.

I leave you with these 13 photos taken in the past 12 months. Hence, the 13/12 of the title. As for the -50 of the equation, it represents a very personal achievement that I'm proud of, it stands for the 50 pounds I lost since January 4, 2016.
